When I was a the lighthouse in October, one of my friends brought along three adult coloring books. I had never seen them before, and they were beautiful images to color. I don't remember too much coloring going on, because we had so many other things we wanted to do, but the books were there if we wanted to do a little coloring.
Then, for Christmas, I was gifted this beautiful coloring book. The images are very attractive and would be fun to color. I looked for my colored pencils and found a set of 12 colors. I think I might want to invest in some more colors and maybe some gel pencils...I'll have to see what's available locally. I just haven't made the time to do so. Knitting is my go-to activity for relaxing or decompressing.
Have you seen a variety of adult coloring books? Have you done some coloring?
My son has several of the coloring books. He finds it very relaxing to work with color in this format in the evening while he watches sports on Tv. I love seeing his pages come to life. I'll stick with my knitting. Mason Dixon knitters have a knit coloring book....If I'm not mistaken
ReplyDeleteI admit, I broke down and bought a few. Some ended up being TOO detailed and I gave those to a friend. I enjoy the ones I kept.
ReplyDeleteNot yet, but maybe some day. . .
ReplyDeleteLast Saturday went to the library for their adult coloring activity. Chance to visit and relax. They will have 3 more (2/20, 3/5, and 3/19). Judie Williams was there. She has 2 books, both to do with Wyoming. (Married to Boyd Williams, if you remember him)
ReplyDeleteI've seen them, admired them, been tempted by them, and resisted. I don't NEED something else to do!
