Art on the sidewalk
Once again, it was time to Chalk The Walk at the Riverton Library. It turned out to be a lovely evening, despite the wind and rain earlier in the afternoon. Artists of all ages participated and contributed their artistic talents, creating lovely artwork. Live music was being played from the lawn area, and many folks came out to enjoy the evening.
The gal in the foreground, Rachel, took 3rd place with her drawing of an eagle.
Here' another; this artist finished his drawing in record time...the first to complete his work that evening.

I missed the event this year but hope to attend next year. Rachel always does a nice job on her drawings.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE seeing this event through you. The Eagle is amazing. The woodsy fast art....amazing to me also. Im a stick figure drawer
ReplyDeleteLove chalk art...it's so challenging to work with. looks like a great evening outing.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun community event.
ReplyDeleteDo you know, it is illegal in Orlando to write on the sidewalks with chalk. They enacted the law during the "Occupy" protests a couple of years ago when the protesters were writing nasty things in front of City Hall.
