Yes, summer is going at warp speed! We not had more than 1/10th inch of rain here since June first; it's incredibly dry and wildfires are a constant and scary threat all over the state. Have you read about the Chelan fire?
This summer can't go by too fast for me, but I have to admit that I was shocked this week to see how dark it is at 9:15 now. Our temps have moderated; I can handle 80s much better than 100s!
We've had a good run at some very warm weather since May which is unusual to these parts. Rain is now welcome a bit at a time and I look forward to the fall as I do all of the seasons. Lovely photo!
