Days of Gold

Nothing Gold Can Stay
by Robert Frost

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.

  1. Beautiful. I will have to live my autumn vicariously through you. It's still summer here, even though the calendar says otherwise.

  2. I love Robert Frost's poems: he's one poet I would have liked to meet.

  3. I love autumn once I let go of my summers grasp. I dread the long long winter months….march april and may are cold cold cold and dreary here in chicago for the most part
