What a garden!

Over the 4th of July I was treated to visiting the Botanic Gardens in Denver.  The lily pads caught my eye, and I couldn't help but snap a few pictures into the dark water.  The blooms were eye candy.

The featured artist for the summer is Deborah Butterfield and her show, "The Nature of Horses."  These horses appear to be made of driftwood.  But the material is actually bronze. She did a marvelous job of making the metal look exactly like pieces of driftwood.  Phenomenal.
