Rag Socks

I got this Patons Kroy Socks (Ragg Shades) Yarn for Christmas.  I decided to let the colors in the yarn do their striping thing while I did a simple ribbing.  I really like whats happening with the colors so far.  There's plenty of yarn (2 skeins), so I am planning to knit the leg about 8 inches long. I'm using size 3 needles.

  1. The striping is wonderful, especially that thin stripe before and after the gray. These are going to be great-looking socks.

  2. I like that color combo. Ribbing is a great look --- simple and classic. Looks like a deconstructed sock monkey! :-)

  3. Fun! The first thing that popped into my head, too, was sock monkey! You could make one from the ground up! LOL

  4. I know that theoretically the yard will knit in those stripes...but still I am always amazed that it does...

    Lovely colors.
